Upon application to the City Clerk, accompanied by a proper affidavit and the payment of the sum of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50), to be paid to the City Clerk, a duplicate plate or tag shall be issued to the applicant. (Amended during 9-98 supplement; prior code § 24-6-22)
